Ceilings must be properly maintained from initial installation to get the maximum return on your investment. Regular ceiling maintenance can keep your ceilings clean, neat, and functional for 25 years or more. When neglected, depending on the nature of your business, expensive replacement and disruption to your business may be your only option, and come at a time when you can least afford it.

Most people don't look up. Its true. When they do, a problem has usually become so glaring that it has attracted your attention. This could take years, depending on the type of business you operate.

If you are visiting this site to look for help solving a problem, the following information should be helpful.

  1. Is your ceiling dirty? Look for rings of soot, dust, dirt, around diffusers (vents) in your ceiling system. Look for dust clogged grills, dusty sprinkler fittings, cobwebbed corners and other dirty or dusty ceiling components. If you are in a restaurant setting, your vinyl kitchen ceiling may be soiled, stained, or discoloured from the byproducts of your cooking or baking process.

If you are in a industrial setting, or have an open ceiling, you may have years of settled, accumulated dust, dirt, and other contaminants that have become unsightly, or are beginning to fall on your product, employees, or work space.

  1. Is your ceiling waterstained, or damaged? Perhaps you have had a roof leak, a plumbing leak, or similar problem. Ceiling tiles were designed to provide quick access to the areas where these leaks may originate. These leaks have to be fixed before the ceiling can be taken care of.

Broken or damaged tiles can be replaced but this can be a problem when the ceiling is more than a year old. Improperly maintained ceilings get dirty and dull with age. Simply replacing broken tiles is not the answer if the attractiveness of your workplace is important to you. New tiles won't match older tiles in colour or brightness. This checkerboard effect can be unsightly and draws attention.

  1. Is your ceiling sagging? This problem can sometimes be corrected by tightening up the hangers in the appropriate location.

  1. Do your ceiling tiles appear bowed or individually sagged? This usually requires replacement. In some instances, years of dirt, objects, extra tiles, or other components may cause tiles to warp from the pressure. In some instances this can be easily corrected. Warpage from water damage is permanent.

  1. Is your ceiling surface nicked, scuffed, fingerprinted, or similarly marred in spots? There are simple solutions for these common problems that can eliminate the need for replacement.

  1. Is your ceiling looking bad, suffering from old age...has it lost its lustre, is it sagging, or does it contain corroded metal components, etc? It sounds like time for a replacement. If your budget won't allow it, there are cost effective solutions to make it look better and extend its life.

We can address all of these problems in a most cost effective manner. Replacement is drastic, and should only be considered as a last resort.
